SACRED VALLEY CONNECTION MACHU PICCHU 2 D / 1 N
The Sacred Valley was undoubtedly a special area to the Incas. Its pleasant climate and fertile soil made a place of perfect combination of flora and fauna. This was also the route to the jungle and therefore an area with access to fruit trees and plants of the tropical lowlands. The Sacred Valley has an altitude of 2.800 meters and combines a beautiful landscape along with some important Archaeological sites.
DAY 01: SACRED VALLEY:
we will pick you up at your respective hotel around 08:30am and then we begin our journey to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, during our trip we will do some stops on different viewpoints like Ccorao and Taray where we will get some nice pictures ,After that we are going to continue to pisaq to see a beautiful village founded by the first group of Spaniards, then we will keep driving to pisaq inka site to explore and get a lot of information from our guide
Later on we will continue to the town of Urubamba where we will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch in a really local restaurant with typical food of the region and then continue our journey to the village of OLLANTAYTAMBO considered as the last living inka city where we will have a tour of about 1:30 hrs to finally take our train to Aguas Calientes where we are going to stay in a hotel.
DAY 02: MACHU PICCHU:
after our early breakfast, we will take a bus from Aguas Calientes to the archaeological complex of Machu Picchu where we will have a guided tour for about 2 hours with our guide who will explain us all about the historical legacy of the Citadel Machu Picchu and the complete description of this great and wonderful place.
After our tour you will have a free time to explore more places on your own to finally descend to Aguas Calientes by bus and tske our train back to Ollantaytambo
