Itinerary
Moray & Maras Salt Mines – Half-Day Itinerary
We will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco at 8:00 a.m. then drive in our vehicle. Our first stop will be Chinchero a charming Andean village rich in Inca heritage and local traditions where you wil see handcrafted fabrics and unique artisanal products made by skilled local weavers. We will also explore the ancient Inca structures in Chinchero.
Next, we will pass through the town of Maras and take a route leading to Moray This incredible archaeological site features a series of concentric agricultural terraces, believed to have been an research farming center used by the Incas.
after our visit to Moray, we will continue to the breathtaking Maras Salt Mines there are thousands of salt ponds fed by a natural salty underground streams used for centuries by local families who still continue the traditional salt extraction methods .
finally , we will be back to Cusco, This half-day tour offers an unforgettable experience filled with history, culture, and stunning landscapes.
