Our exclusive 2-days tour to Machu Picchu and the Sacred Valley combines history, culture, and stunning landscapes for an unforgettable experience. Begin your adventure with a full-day exploration of the Sacred Valley, visiting ancient Inca sites, charming villages, and breathtaking mountain scenery. Itinerary
Day 1: Sacred Valley Tour
The Sacred Valley is a vast region filled with numerous attractions. Since one day isn’t enough to see everything, we offer two different routes to explore it properly. Both options starts at 7:00 AM from your hotel in Cusco.
Option A: Through Pisac (Alpaca Farm, Pisac Ruins, Pisac Market & Ollantaytambo)
We will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco at 7:00 AM to start your Machu Picchu and Sacred Valley adventure. Our journey begins with a drive to Pisac, where we will visit four main sites:
- Awana Cancha: A traditional farm where you can see alpacas, llamas, vicuñas, and huanacos.
- Pisac Archaeological Site: One of the most important Inca sites in the valley.
- Pisac Market: A colorful market where you can find local crafts and souvenirs.
- Ollantaytambo Ruins: A spectacular Inca fortress with impressive terraces and stonework.
Midway through the tour, we will stop in Urubamba for lunch. Afterward, we have the option to visit a local brewery before heading to Ollantaytambo’s archaeological center. Following our visit, we will board the train to Aguas Calientes .
Option B: Through Maras (Chinchero, Moray, Salt Mines & Ollantaytambo)
For this route, we will also pick you up at 7:00 AM from your hotel. The tour begins with a visit to:
- Chinchero Textile Center: A community where you can learn about traditional Andean weaving techniques.
- Maras: A charming colonial town with stunning views of the valley.
- Moray: A set of circular agricultural terraces used by the Incas for crop experimentation.
- Maras Salt Mines: Ancient salt pools that have been in use since pre-Inca times, creating a breathtaking landscape.
Our final stop will be the Ollantaytambo ruins, where we will spend about an hour exploring this incredible Inca site. Afterward, we will take the train to Aguas Calientes .
Day 2: Machu Picchu – The Highlight of the Trip
On the second day, we will wake up early to catch the first bus to Machu Picchu, allowing us to witness the sunrise over the ancient ruins.
Our guide will meet you at your hotel and take you to the bus station. The ride to Machu Picchu takes about 30 minutes. Upon arrival you will head to the Guardian’s House, where you will take the famous panoramic photo of Machu Picchu.
Next, the guide will provide a brief introduction to the history of Machu Picchu. The tour will last approximately 3 hours, following Circuit #2, which includes key sites such as:
- The Main Gate
- The Temple of the Sun
- The Inca Quarry
- The Main Plaza
- The Inca House
- The Sacred Rock
- The Temple of the Condor
After our visit, we will take the bus back to Aguas Calientes, where you will have free timae for lunch, souvenir shopping, and exploring the town. Later, we will board the train back to cusco.

We purchased Circuit 2 – Classic Route for our Machu Picchu + Sacred Valley tour. This means that with our guide, you will explore both the upper and lower sections of Machu Picchu. This circuit is highly recommended as it allows you to see the entire Inca city.
According to Peruvian law, you must be under 18 years old at the time of your Machu Picchu visit to qualify for a discount. If you are 18 or older, a valid student ID is required.
