Itinerary
Cusco – Palcoyo – Cusco
Our tour begins with a hotel pickup at 5:00 a.m. We will then travel in our private transport for approximately three hours to the village of Yanacancha. Along the way, we will admire the region’s rich biodiversity, including the iconic alpacas and llamas. Upon arriving at the starting point of our hike, we will enjoy a delicious breakfast with a scenic view of the lagoon.
After breakfast, we will embark on a short 10-minute walk to reach the main lagoon. From there, we will continue along a trail leading to additional lagoons, which takes about an hour of hiking. You will have ample time to explore the area and capture stunning photographs. On our way back from the smaller lagoons, we will have the opportunity to observe local trout farming.
Once we finish exploring the lagoon, we will return to our private transport and head to the village of Pampacancha. Here, you can relax and enjoy the soothing thermal baths while having lunch. Finally, we will return to the city of Cusco.
