Itinerary
Cusco – South Valley – Cusco
We pick up our clients from their hotels at 8:00 a.m. Our first stop is the Tipón archaeological site, where we learn about the impressive hydraulic works, including the fountain and the marvelous water distribution channels that supply each parcel. After a guided tour, we continue our journey to Pikillacta, a site that blends landscape and history, revealing the urban organization of its time.
Our final destination is Andahuaylillas, known as the Sistine Chapel of America, famous for its fabulous collection of Cusco paintings and murals dating back to the 16th and 17th centuries. Inside this temple, you can admire the famous door with inscriptions in five languages, which was once entirely covered in gold.
After exploring all these sites, we return to Cusco around 3:00 p.m.
